  • 8 hr

About...

Blend of history, culture, and nature of Ras Al Khaimah, one of the UAE's hidden treasures. Our day begins at the National Museum of RAK. Situated in the former palace of the ruling Al Qasimi family in the heart of the city, this museum is a trove of archaeological and ethnographic artifacts. You'll get a glimpse of life in the region from the prehistoric times, through its pearling history, to the Islamic era. The museum's collection includes traditional weapons, manuscripts, and ceramics, showcasing the region's rich cultural tapestry. From there, we journey to the Mohammad bin Salem Mosque. This historic mosque is an emblem of Ras Al Khaimah's spiritual heritage. It bears witness to the emirate's longstanding Islamic traditions and showcases the architectural aesthetics that are very diffrent to the traditional built of a mosque. Next, we take a leisurely pace along the RAK Corniche. This boulevard runs alongside the lagoon and offers panoramic views of untouched mangroves and their wildlife right in the middle of the city. Corniche is lined with a variety of restaurants. You have the freedom to pick a spot that catches your fancy or even opt for a picturesque picnic by the lagoon. Please note that lunch isn't included in the tour, giving you the flexibility to choose as per your preference. From Corniche we take an ABRA boat ride. These traditional wooden boats take you through the mangroves of Ras Al Khaimah. It's not just about the ride; the mangroves are crucial to the local ecosystem, acting as breeding grounds for marine life and playing a role in carbon sequestration. Our tour concludes at Al Jazeerah Al Hamra Heritage Village. This 14th-century village stands as a reminder of the UAE's history before oil transformed the region. Abandoned in the 1960s, it's now a hauntingly beautiful relic, with its mud-brick houses, ancient mosques, and pathways giving you a genuine feel of old-world Emirati life. Experience Ras Al Khaimah in its full splendor, seeing its past, present, and hopeful future through its landmarks and landscapes. Join us on this enlightening journey.
