One of the most important places in the life of the local population. Before the oil era, fishing, among other things, brought income to the locals. After the market, we will have a long walk through the streets of old RAK and Kuwaiti Souq. There was once a colorful merchant life here, and it still is today! You can drink the famous karak here, eat in the oldest RAK restaurants, buy antiques and everything you need for everything ;). RAK National Museum is also in this area. Situated in the heart of the city and the former residence of the ruling Al Qasimi family, this museum is a treasure trove of archaeological and ethnographic artifacts. You gain insight into the life of the region, starting from prehistoric times, through the history of pearls, to the Islamic era. The museum's collection includes traditional weapons, manuscripts and ceramics, showcasing the cultural richness of the area. From there we go to the Mohammad bin Salem Mosque. This historic mosque is a symbol of Ras Al Khaimah's spiritual heritage. It is a testament to the emirate's long-standing Islamic traditions and presents an architectural aesthetic that differs significantly from traditional mosque construction. Our tour ends at the Al Jazeerah Al Hamra Heritage Village. This 14th century village is a reminder of the history of the UAE before oil transformed the region. Abandoned in the 1960s, it is now a beautiful relic, with its mud brick and coral houses, mosques and paths that will take you to the authentic world of Emirati life from times not so long ago.
